About the Blogger

My name is Sheel Bhuta. I am a senior at Rowan University studying Public Relations and Broadcast Journalism with a special interest in Sports and Entertainment. I am taking an Online Journalism class where we are required to write a blog twice a week until the end of the semester. I chose volunteering because it’s refreshing to cover something pleasant when there is so much misfortune all around us. If there is anything I’ve learned throughout my life, it’s that your quality of life is much more dependent on your attitude and finding the “silver lining” in any given situation than the actual events that you are faced with on a daily basis. I am hoping that my blog will be a resource for young adults in the community to help others in their time of need or to discover where they can attain the help they may be yearning for.
